Material

Longer than Titan, heavier in the butt. Stainless guides, sealed 5000 drag. This is the coastal US$1000 kit — wind and spray, not a lake.

In the kit

200 m already on the reel. Leader pack in the sleeve pocket. You walk onto the pier without a spooling station.

Reel

Larger than Titan’s 4000. Wipe the foot, oil the roller, never hose the drag. Salt in the stack is the end of a return.

Size

PE 2.0–3.0. A longer blank for a side-wind cast off the rocks. Packed in a sleeve, not a lock tube — travel is secondary to length.

Use & after-sales

Coastal work. Stored-wet pitting is wear. A transit-bent 2.7 m section is replaced from the same blank.

After saltwater: rinse the blank, wipe the reel foot, a drop of oil on the line roller.
Stainless guides still pit if stored wet. Dry the sleeve before you zip it.
Do not use freshwater reel oil on the drag stack — sealed means sealed.
